Somewhere I belong
It was started in a small town
I born there.
I grow up in a area
where everyone used to be close with each other.
We used to wake up early in the morning
With old people, same blessings and greetings.
Everything was familiar then except money.
A school with big group of friends
And playing in the school ground
was favourite part of my teenage.
Every roads of the town was known to me
So, I ain’t afraid of being lost.
But darkness was fear.
In the rainy day
I used to play football all day long.
And after getting cold fever
I used to lean my head into my mother’s lap.
There was a coconut tree standing strong beside my home.
One day my cousins and I stole few coconuts
And its give me the life’s best lesson.
Now when I pay a visit in my home
I could not see the coconut tree
Because it has been cut off by its owner.
So much emptiness outside and inside my house
That I can not fill.
